WHITE WINES - "Antão Vaz da Peceguina 2010" (Alentejo region), "Carolina 2010" (Douro region), "Invisível 2011" (Alentejo region), "Torre do Frade Viognier 2011" (Alentejo region) and "Poema - Alvarinho Superior 2009" (Minho - Verde region);
RED WINES - "Montaria Colheita 2010" (Alentejo region), "Marka 2009" (Douro region), "Mar da Palha 2009" (Lisboa region), "Quinta dos Carvalhais Duque de Viseu 2008" (Dão region) and "Quinta dos Termos Colheita Seleccionada 2008" (Beiras region).

Solar with 2 Forks in "Lisboa à Prova" - Thursday, February 23, 2012
Solar dos Presuntos was, once again, awarded with 2 Forks in the 2011 contest of "Lisboa à Prova", at a ceremony in the City Hall. "Lisboa à Prova" is a gastronomic competition that involves only restaurants in Lisbon. Since 2009, that Solar maintains the same premium, something that makes all our team proud and that we share with all our clients and friends. read more ...

Lamprey season - Sunday, January 15, 2012
The highly expected lamprey season has arrived to Solar.
As always it will be served between January and mid April and can be eaten in several ways (rice, "bordaleza", açorda in bread...).
Daily, lamprey arrive from Lanhelas, where they are caught in Rio Minho. Although the trip (about 400 kms), they still come alive.

Solar between the 7 best of Lisbon - Saturday, September 24, 2011
Solar dos Presuntos is between the 7 best restaurants of Lisbon Region, according to the Restaurants Guide of the mythicals newspapers "Diário de Notícias" and "Jornal de Notícias".
The guide "Guia 564 Restaurantes - Vamos Comer" ("Guide of 564 Restaurants - Let´s Eat") is the result of the association between these two newspapers and the competition "7 Wonders of Portuguese Gastronomy" and translates de opinion of the food critic José Silva about the best places to eat in each portuguese region.
