Whoever enters this House, enters your House, that's how we wanted it to be and that's why we founded Solar dos Presuntos. In 50 years of existence (we opened our doors on October 30, 1974) we have recovered the great tradition of Minho cuisine. Founded on this date by Evaristo Cardoso and Graça Cardoso.

Eating well and well belongs to the category of affections. And affection implies that we are courteous, affable and warm. This is why whoever enters this House enters your House. Over more than a quarter of a century, we have taken great care to present (with a quality recognized by the best national and foreign experts) a series of dishes that constitute authentic specialties of one of the oldest Portuguese cuisines. Writers, journalists, politicians, actors, footballers, businessmen, architects, engineers - famous people, but, above all, good people, have honored Solar dos Presuntos with their presence and encouragement. The immense photographs and caricatures displayed on the walls reflect, albeit partially, the quality of our customers. This is why our clients know that when they enter this House, they enter their House. The history of Solar dos Presuntos is full of other stories, which are already part of the recent history of our country. For this reason, we feel proud and assume the responsibility of continuing a work that, in our opinion, is also , a cultural service and the bond with which great friendships are built.
